Damnn, the president is right here :D I'm abit excited now because of the topic im gonna update about !
So , recently , my vice president and I have attended the DIC 2013 ( district interact conference ) and we are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Subang Jaya. Thank you very much !
Here are the details :
Date : 6th of Dec to 9th of Dec
Venue : Glory Beach Resort , Port Dickson
From this camp , we met approximately 300-400 interactors from all over Malaysia including Sarawak and also interactors from Singapore ! Not just about making friends , we also learnt alot about ' how to be a leader ' , ' To love our parents ' , ' Self Defense ' and various more workshops. On the first day , we had our ice breaking sessions and also an inspirational talk by PP Dr Siva Ananthan.
On the second day , we did a community service ( gotong royong / karnival ) for the residents that lived at that particular area .
We also had several talks and one of them was ' Self Defense and Personal Safety ' by Assistant Superintendent Mary Ann Arokia Dass.
That's like the highlights for Day 1 and Day 2.
